February 18, 2010
7:00 pm (Central Time)

Harper's Resturant
3085 Old Gallatin Road
Scottsville, KY 42164

We are looking forward to a wide range of opinions and suggestions for the new season. If you'd like to express any suggestions or opinions related to the season, you can email SouthernImpact22@yahoo.com and we will look over them and take them into considerations. If you can, please email them before Feb. 15th so we have time to look and converse over them. However, if you strongly stand with your rule and it is something you'd like to push towards, we ask that you personally come to the drivers meeting to voice this. There will be NO kickers allowed PERIOD!

Please voice your suggestions and opinions in the best interests and with positives. Not negativity! We are wanting a positive season and looking towards a great group of drivers!!! We are in it for the fans and the community!

Call Nathan Farley @ 270-237-1881, he will take your calls and talk to you about things. I'm just posting for him to help them out! He is without internet at the time.

Thanks!
Nicole Very Happy

Dennis and Nathan are smart men look at the car counts last year compare to other derbies russel county no dist prot, had 6 cars
they had a better average than pretty much anyone else did and the only good derbys in the state had same rules as they did i think it would be hard to take things away that bring your cars in.Either way i enjoyed running there last year.

I'm sure at the drivers meeting it will all come up about the kickers. Maybe a way to work with them on it. I know they both say this is that and that is this. Would like it this way. But, I just posted what they wanted and hopefully somerules will be added some changed. Who knows! Hopefully I will be able to make it, not sure yet.

Nathan is a good guy, he listens to people. I know you will be there to voice is Donnie Jo! Good luck!

We went last year to the meeting and it was pretty interesting plus they have some very good catfish to eat so even if you dont get the rules you want its still worth the trip.

I may not be able to make it because of work. You have 2 different ways to look at it, if you allow kickers and the rules from last year may have a good show.... but.... If you go back with the old scottsville rules with just pulling the front two mounts out and weld doors and trunk may have more cars. Alot of people now days can't spend alot of cash on cars and if they can't and don't have kickers or anything else they may not bring their cars cause they couldn't compete

I agree with nomoney. Macon had a stock derby last year and 33 cars showed up. People that can't afford to spend 2 or 3 grand on a car won't run these shows. They will take them to stock shows or limited weld shows. Some people just like to run to have fun and tear up a car. They don't car how many runs they get out of a car.
