Sherri... Glad to hear that little one got a good feeding. He was really hungry and just kept crying to both Mom & Dad whenver he was able to get out of Siszilla's grips.
A few minutes ago...

I was there with you LMM.
I think these ones are different from yours.
And a short video of "The Chicks Are Home Alone"

| I'm glad the little one got a good meal. I stopped watching early this am as I just couldn't watch any more. I've seen a difference in the behaviour of the little one in the past few day. Before he would try to get bites but it seems that now he is trying less and less. That's what's bothering me now. If he gives up, he really is a goner, and it breaks my heart. |

This is going to be one strong, dominant female...that's for sure. Dad's waiting for Mom to come home.

Checked the cam just in time to see Big Sis pecking the little one, and not gently either........she's soooo mean! They were just ready to be fed by Dad and I guess she wanted to make sure she got her share first. Little one is in submission.

I have to say the was one of the saddest feedings I have ever seen.
The big one totally brutalized the little one and ate for almost a half hour. Finally the little one got over to Dad but then he wouldn't feed him so the little one gave up and went crying back into the nest and just layed down.
I hope he gets something when Mom gets back... |

I just witnessed some bizarre behavior. For the last 15 minutes I watched Dad(?) feeding the bully. The little one was very submissive after getting pecked a few times. The bigger eaglet laid down (digesting a belly full I suspect) and the little one popped its head up ready to feed. Dad totally ignored it. Then the bully sat back up again and Dad started offering the food again. The wee one finally walked out of the bowl and right next to Dad in hopes to get in line for a few morsels and was again ignored. Finally the little one retreated back into the bowl and laid down. What's that all about??
935AM both eaglets laying back in the bowl, Dad's eyes are scouring the skies. |

Little one didn't get anything? I didn't watch the rest of the feeding and I'm glad I didn't! I just checked in hoping to see if both their crops are full. _________________ ~Peggy~ |

| Well, it looks like I won't be watching again today. I can't understand dad as he usually feeds the little one after stuffing Piggy!!!! |

I don't see a stockpile of food and the cupboards may be close to bear but still... Ignoring the wee one- TWICE- seemed very deliberate Maybe they're ALL afraid of Siszilla?!
10:07AM Both babies are snoozing in the cup, one quite sated and the other quite hungry, I'm sure . Dad's still on watch, eyes to the skies.

florafreeek... Awful wasn't it? I have a video uploading. It's almost a half hour that I edited down. There is still a half of fish laying there.
Not sure what's going on but it sure doesn't look good for the little one. He's really looking weak to me and has knubs sticking out of his back. |

Lori- this is the first time I've had this year to check the CA nests. I was hoping for an enjoyable few minutes of viewing a happy family. This is rather disturbing
10:24AM Same scenario. It looks like DAD's waiting to be fed |

Finally!!!!!! Little one is up on the other side of Dad and is getting fed.
Listen to him talk... He's starving. Taking the food as fast as Dad can give it to him.
