Thanks shoebutton, and a good example of how the new threads will work.
It is very nice to post the screenshots of the change in zoom in this thread, but isn't needed for the record thread, which will usually (not always) have eagles in the picture. |

New cam view looks like a good compromise - we'll still be able to see them flying in, and should have a better chance of identifying the parents (and guests??) on the nest, she says hoping to see parents on the nest!
Thanks for the comparison shots, Shoebutton! |

A question about the new threads - WillPatt has screenshots of an article about how a raptor's foot and leg works on the Eagle and Other Raptors thread - link - would a link to that be appropriate to add to the new Nest Observation thread, or would you only like articles about the Maine eagles posted there?
Thanks for the clarification! |

Thank you for creating this thread, Judy!
I think it will be a great help to have the Maine nest separate as now one can go there to see if something pertains to the nest in particular.
As you probably know, though I like to chat , I found it very difficult to plod through a dozen or so pages of off topic just to find out if something took place at the nest. I am sure there are many other people that feel the same as I.
This is a great move! THANKS! |

That is a good question, JudyB.
Judy (admin), is there any possibility of having a subdivision for general research articles that something like that could be posted at? |

Do the eagle in/out and calling observations go here or the Nest thread? |

So nice to see a visitor to the nest! They sound so pretty when they talk to one another. 11:42 am and still hear chatting in the distance! _________________ Nancy |

Maybe another sep. thread would be used for Eagle/Raptor Info./Facts. Just a thought to keep things a bit more organized and easier to locate for future reference... _________________ Nancy |

That was my question too Sherri! He didn't stay long but could hear Mom calling back and forth with him. _________________ Let us live by our faith, so that our faith may cause us to live. |

PattiO,
Did you go to Promised Land this past Saturday morning? I was thinking of you...beautiful weather to go if you did. I'm thinking of going on Sunday...weather-permitting, of course. _________________ Nancy
