The Puget Sound EagleCam
Update March 2007 from the home page

“After two bald eagles fledged last year and dismantled the entire 4-foot diameter nest, the adult eagle pair returned in late fall to build a new nest in the same tree and fortunately in view of the existing camera. Join us this year as we follow the nesting behavior and activities of two pair of bald eagles. An egg appeared in the new nest on March 21st.”

Marcia has added a picture below from the eaglets first day. The hatch day was April 26th.

The main page for the Washington Dept of Fish and Wildlife “WildWatchCams” is:
http://wdfw.wa.gov/wildwatch/

From there, you can select from a drop down menu on the right for Puget Sound. The Kent cams are on the same drop down and it is rather convenient because you can toggle back and forth from the one spot.

OR, you can go direct to the cam with this link (thank you, Marcia)
http://www.thermosight.com/AutoPugetEagle.htm

Lots of cams to check in on .....and this is one more little baby to love and send on its way into the world. Very Happy

This is the main page for Puget Sound, which will give you some history from last year.

Sherri I've been watching this cam for awhile now. I believe the egg is way overdue to hatch. There have been cam troubles but finally they have it back online. From what I've seen this nest has a good Mom and Dad and a healthy baby! Very Happy

These are from today....it would be good to have some pictures of both Mom and Dad on nest at same time so we can tell the difference.

Hm-m, I wonder if this wee baby will be able to dismantle the nest! Laughing

Ah, good.....you spotted the thread! I was just about to PM you after I finished the pictures.....it's the 'great minds thing' again! Laughing

OK....so that was my next question here......the egg...I wasn't sure whether it was the shell from the hatched one or if it were a 2nd egg.
I know you told me when this eaglet hatched but I can't find the reference. Seems like it may have been shortly before our Kent babies??
If that is the case, then perhaps this egg just isn't viable?

The egg hatched on April 26th. Very Happy

In your picture #10 it looks like the 2nd egg could have a pip hole. However, it's looked that way since on or before 4/26. Here's the little one on it's first day Very Happy
