That little sucker has got a wing span now, doesn't he.

When I first tuned in, the bigger one was standing tall at the front edge of nest with the other laying in front of him. The second update, they were both laying in center of nest and look much small laying down then when they are sitting or standing up.

It is interesting how different in size they look at different parts of the nest! Very Happy However you look at it - they are getting big! These pictures are from June 20, and the older one is about 8 weeks old! Very Happy

Note the parent on watch in the tree at the right edge of the first four pictures - I'm guessing that lots of times when we think eaglets this age are "home alone" there's a parent not far away. Laughing

Yes they are getting big. I have noticed the parent sitting on that limb a lot of times and liked being able to see that someone was close. Don't usually get to see anything much around the nest.

Not my normal day to watch these guys, but I took a quick peek and they put on a bit of a show - I know it's partly the perspective of the cam - but what big wings! Very Happy

Hard to see because of the sun glare but both are resting in center of nest. They are getting big for sure. Thanks for the pictures Judy.

One is getting up now and seems to be curious about something there in the nest.

This is such a beautiful setting - do wish there was a slightly better camera! These are from June 27, when the older one was about 9 weeks old:

These two are such cuties and they seem to stick together like the West End girls do. Very Happy

They are cute the way they are always close. Have been watching but not posting because I can't do both at the same time. When the picture updates, it stops me being able to type and I have to play with it before it will start again. By then the picture updates again and it starts all over.

These guys are fun to watch, even if the cam isn't the greatest. They gave me a lot of great shots yesterday, so this will be in two parts. These are from July 4, when the oldest was about 10 weeks old.

All this time I have been watching this nest and it just hit me that there is lovely blue water below the nest. Where are my glasses???

Know what you mean, Carla - it looks white much of the time, but is quite beautiful when the light is right.

They're very active today. Thought I'd misplaced one until I realized it's perched right next to the camera! Very Happy And the other got a bit of height with its flapping. Pictures tonight with a bit of luck! They're about 10-1/2 weeks old now.

Was just watching them doing some nest picking and exercise. One of them came right up in front of the camera and I was afraid he was going to go out on that little bridge of sticks. Don't know if it would have held his weight. Next update, he was back on the other side of nest with his sibling. Then the picture updated and was blank.
Nest won't come up at all now.

It still seems to be working for me - one is in the nest and I think the other is perched on that branch that sticks out from the back of the nest - at least I can't see any white in the tail of the eagle perched there. Shocked
