All Tigrigna night

This days it is very hard to find Tigrigna nights. If you go to Tigrigna night to dance Tigrigna, one is forced to listen Amhric music. Many Tigrigna party organizers are afraid to organize all Tigrigna night on fear of being unEthiopia. To be accepted one has to speak or sing Amharic. Why aren't we confident to sing and speak Tigrigna and be Ethiopian. Every wedding, party is spoiled by Amharic songs. The reason why I come to Tigrigna nights is to listen and dance Tigrigna music. If I want to dance and listen to Amharic music I will go to Amharic singers and nights.
So organizers should respect the Tigrigna community and should be ready to entertain us in Tigrigna only. When I go to Amharic party I am not expecting Tigrigna songs and I respect their music. In the same way if Amharu comes to our party they shopuld respect our songs and dances.
So guys be confident you should respect the Tigrigna community by entretining Tigrigna music only. We should boycot who don't respect us as Tigrians. |

i agree with you 100% on that but the problem is most of our people loves amharic dance.

I think that is an overgeneralization. If the presenter has 100% Tigrina song, I think the audiances will be happy.
I just think we Tigrian go out of our way to make everyone happy but us.

that could be true too, we do like to make people happy, but i have always heard our people requesting amharic musics

| If there is any one who would be unhappy for listening Tigrigna music, let him?her go to hell. Those who ask Amharic music on Tigrigna nights should go to Amharic nights. There are many Aharic nights, parties, weddings everywhere, they can go and enjoy Amharic songs or dances. Howevr they should stop spoiling our Tigrigna moods. We Tigriyans should fight Amnharanization of our culture and language. |

Thank you ,brother.I thought i was the only one thinking that. A friend of mine only speaks Amharic to me as soon as we get inside of an Ethiopian restaurant for fear of being labeled "racist" by Amharu.
Let them go to hell. |
